What is BPC-157?
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide composed of 15 amino acids. It is derived from a partial sequence of a protein found in human gastric juice. In the research literature, BPC-157 has been widely studied for its effects on tissue repair, tendon-to-bone healing, and gastrointestinal integrity in animal models.
Mechanism of action (preclinical)
Published rodent studies suggest BPC-157 may interact with the nitric oxide (NO) pathway and modulate growth hormone receptor expression. These are laboratory findings — no approved human indication exists.
Standard laboratory reconstitution
For a 5 mg lyophilised vial reconstituted with 2 mL of bacteriostatic water:
- Final concentration: 2.5 mg/mL (2500 mcg/mL)
- 0.1 mL (10 units on a U-100 syringe) delivers 250 mcg
- 0.2 mL (20 units) delivers 500 mcg
Always use our dose calculator for exact figures based on your vial size.
Storage
Lyophilised powder: stable at room temperature for short-term; refrigerate (2–8 °C) for long-term. Reconstituted solution: refrigerate and use within 14 days.
